Common Core-Surface Safety Training

Our Common Core-Surface Safety Training course is designed to meet the legislated requirements of the first three modules of the Surface Miner Program.

• Lockout/tag out procedures
• Safe operation of hand and power
  tools

Please Note: That to become fully accredited by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) under the Surface Miner Program, participants must return to their workplace and demonstrate their skills and their understanding of the company’s specific requirements—including government legislation, company standards, and manufacturer specifications—to a qualified trainer and be signed off and registered with the MTCU by their company’s signing authority.
